Triple H Praises Shawn Michaels, But Teases NXT Return; William Regal Says ‘WarGames’ At NXT Homecoming
Triple H opened NXT Homecoming on September 16th, returning to Full Sail University when he led the NXT brand to new heights.
Triple H reflected on NXT’s run at Full Sail and thanked the crowd, saying they are why NXT is stronger than ever.
Shawn Michaels made his way to the ring, and Triple H said Michaels is doing a great job with NXT currently, but stated, “What if I told you that I want to come back!”

WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss were out next, reminding everyone that the women have always run NXT ahead of their title bout against The Culling (Tatum Paxley & Izzi Dame).
