Kyle Fletcher Weighs In On WWE Counterprogramming AEW: “I Think It’s Good Business Practice From The Other Team, I Think They’re Trying To Squash Us”

Fletcher speaks on the subject.

Since April 2025, there have been WWE Premium Live Events that have gone head-to-head or have taken place on the same day as AEW pay-per-views, and that continues on September 20th with AEW All Out and WWE Wrestlepalooza.

The subject of counterprogramming was brought up while Good Karma Wrestling was speaking to Kyle Fletcher. He weighed in and said it’s good business practice from the other side. He knows AEW has competition on 9/20, but he’s focused on having one of the best matches of all time at All Out.

“Man, I think it’s good business practice from the other team. I think they’re trying to squash us. But, for me, it puts a chip on my shoulder. I know that this Saturday, we have competition and my goal is to go out there and have one of the greatest professional wrestling matches of all time, so that people go, oh, nothing comes even close to that, nothing comes close to AEW pay-per-views, so, yeah, that’s all it is. It lights a fire under me. All I wanna do is go out there and do the best that I absolutely can so I can squish the other guys, you know what I mean?”

Fletcher is the reigning TNT Champion and is scheduled to challenge Hangman Adam Page for the AEW World Championship at All Out.
