Sami Zayn US Title Open Challenge Added To 9/12 WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn will hold his second WWE United States Title open challenge on the September 12th episode of WWE SmackDown.

Zayn brought back the US Title open challenge last Friday, with the blessing of John Cena. Cena was Zayn’s opponent last Friday. The bout ended in a no contest when Brock Lesnar interfered.

Zayn said he wanted to use the open challenge to give opportunities to up-and-coming superstars, the same way Cena did a decade ago.
