Tony Khan On Possible Women’s Continental Classic: I Think It Would Be A Great Thing If We Get The Division Healthy

Tony Khan would be interested in a women’s Continental Classic.
As we inch towards the end of 2025, the Continental Classic is very close to returning in AEW. Last year, the tournament was won by Kazuchika Okada but featured other names like Will Ospreay, Ricochet, Darby Allin, Daniel Garcia, Shelton Benjamin, Mark Briscoe, and Brody King.
Speaking with Q93 for a new interview, Khan was once again asked about potentially introducing a women’s version of the tournament.
“We’ve got the women’s world title and the TBS title, I think that the Continental would be something very interesting. We had some injuries happen in the women’s division earlier this year at the All In pay-per-view. I think it would be a great thing if we get the division healthy where we’ve got all of our top fighters ready to go, that could be a really great thing. That’s a very intense tournament with matches every week. I am very open to it, especially if we can get all the top wrestlers healthy to compete.”
