Ospreay was stretchered out of the ring after an attack by Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) and Gabe Kidd at Forbidden Door.
After London native and his team were victorious in a lights out steel cage match, Ospreay was attacked as he tried to soak in the moment in London.
Moxley and Castagnoli wrapped a chair around Ospreay’s neck and stomped down, adding further injury to his already banged up neck.
Ospreay teamed with Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi and Darby Allin to defeat Moxley, Castagnoli, Kidd, and the Bucks in a Lights Out Steel Cage Match at Forbidden Door.
Ahead of Forbidden Door, he opened up regarding his neck issues, saying he was told they couldn’t get worse by wrestling, but admitted it needed to get corrected.
Fightful wishes Ospreay the best in his recovery.
