AEW have filed to trademark ‘The Swirl’.
In the aftermath of their bout at Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor, Lee Johnson and Blake Christian would cut a promo in a backstage interview in which they would repeatedly refer to themselves as the tag team name ‘The Swirl’. Now, AEW have seemingly confirmed the tag team name with a trademark filing.
On September 2nd, AEW filed to trademark ‘The Swirl’ with USPTO for entertainment purposes. You can read the full filing description below.
