Lee Moriarty Retains ROH Pure Title At ROH Death Before Dishonor, Reaches 400 Days As Champion
Lee Moriarty has once again successfully retained his Ring of Honor Men’s Pure Title.
At Ring of Honor, Death Before Dishonor, Lee Moriarty defeated Xelhua to retain the gold. This was also his 400th day as champion. He would get Xelhua to exhaust all of his rope breaks before making the Luchador tap out to a cross-faced chicken wing while in the ropes.
Xelhua and Lee Moriarty shook hands after the match. Moriarty then celebrated with the other members of Shane Taylor Promotions. Taylor, Carlie Bravo, and Shawn Dean captured the Ring of Honor world six-man tag team championship earlier in the night.
