Elijah Recalls Seth Rollins’ Reaction To Ezekiel Character In WWE: “‘I Have No Idea What I Just Watched, But I Loved It'”

Coming out of WWE WrestleMania 38, Elijah f.k.a. Elias transitioned into his ‘Ezekiel’ character. He shaved his facial hair and began sporting traditional trunks and boots.

Ezekiel was billed as the brother of Elias. One of the fellow WWE talents who enjoyed seeing the debut of Ezekiel was Seth Rollins. As Elijah was doing a stage show with Inside The Ropes, he recounted Rollins’ reaction after the introduction of the new character.

“So, that was the birth of Ezekiel right there, and that was that first night on Monday Night Raw. I can remember I walked backstage after that segment, and Seth Rollins is like, ‘I have no idea what I just watched. But I loved it.’”

While Elijah was going by ‘Ezekiel,’ there were four times that he shared the ring with Seth Rollins. They went one-on-one twice in July 2022 on the Monday Night Raw brand.
