Tony Khan Says Bracket For ROH Women’s Pure Title Was Set, But Had To Hold Off Due To Injuries

In April, Ring of Honor announced the ROH Women’s Pure Title.
A tournament was announced to crown the first-ever ROH Women’s Pure Champion, with Serena Deeb, Queen Aminata, Billie Starkz, Leila Grey, Deonna Purrazzo, and Taya Valkyrie being announced as participants.
In the months that have passed, no update has been given on the Women’s Pure Title and no tournament matches have taken place.
On the ROH Death Before Dishonor media call, Tony Khan said that he had a bracket for the tournament, but he had to hold off due to injuries.
Khan noted Syuri’s injury when discussing the division. Syuri was announced as coming to ROH at ROH Supercard of Honor, and she made her AEW/ROH debut in the women’s casino gauntlet at AEW All In. After the event, Syuri announced she was undergoing elbow surgery. When she left STARDOM before joining AEW/ROH, she noted she would be taking time off to heal up from injury.
It is unknown when the Women’s Pure Title tournament will begin or conclude.
