Programming Insider reports that WWE SmackDown on August 22 drew 1.258 million viewers on USA Network. This number is way down from the 1.430 million viewers the show drew on Friday, August 15.
Friday’s episode scored a 0.35 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, the same rating that the show recorded last Friday. The show ranked #2 for the night on cable, losing out to NFL preseason action between the Minnesota Vikings and the Tennessee Titans on CBS. That game averaged 2.563M viewers and a 0.42 rating in the key demographic.
SmackDown was the company’s next show on the road to the Clash In Paris premium live event. The show featured Carmelo Hayes, The Miz, The Motor City Machine Guns, Piper Niven, Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, JC Mateo, Logan Paul, John Cena, and many others.
