Zack Sabre Jr. And Nigel McGuinness Share Respectful Face-Off Ahead Of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door

Zack Sabre Jr. is ready for AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2025.

IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Zack Sabre Jr. appeared on the August 23 episode of AEW Collision. He would defeat Max Caster in Caster’s open challenge. Then, he would confront his opponent for the Forbidden Door event. The legendary Nigel McGuinness not only provides color commentary for AEW Saturday Collision, but he also occasionally wrestles and earned the opportunity to challenge for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on August 24.

Zack Sabre Jr. and Nigel McGuinness shared a handshake on August 23, less than 24 hours before they went head-to-head for the first time, with one of the most prestigious championship belts in wrestling on the line.
