Jody Threat Secures Knockouts World Title Shot Via DQ After Dani Luna Attacks Her, Indi Hartwell & Security Guard On 8/21 TNA iMPACT

Threat will get her shot at the belt.

A Gauntlet match for a shot at the TNA Knockouts World Championship was on the bill for the 8/21 TNA iMPACT. The winner is getting their match after NXT Heatwave, where Jacy Jayne is putting the Knockouts World Title on the line against Masha Slamovich and Ash by Elegance in a Triple Threat.

After Luna lost, she attacked Hartwell and beat her down. Jody Threat, Luna’s former partner in Spitfire, was the last entrant in the match, and Threat was caught off guard by Luna’s actions. Luna told Threat that she did it for her.

Luna proceeded to bring a chair into the ring to use on Hartwell, but Threat stopped her. Luna then punched Jody, which caused a disqualification. She went on to beat Hartwell with a chair and attacked a security guard.

Later in the show, Threat approached Director of Authority Santino Marella and told him she did not want to secure a title match in that manner. Luna entered the picture and was confused as to why Threat did not want to take her shot. Luna said she is tired of not getting what she deserves.
