MJF Threatens To Burn Mark Briscoe Alive, Gets Adam Page To Agree To Two Major Requests On AEW Dynamite

MJF gets what he wants.
The August 20 episode of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door closed with a big moment, as Mark Briscoe was nearly set on fire.
Things got started with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page hit the ring to say that he wants to fight and get his hands on MJF a few days earlier. MJF responded from the backstage area with Ricochet and the Gates Of Agony and threatened to burn Mark Briscoe alive.
MJF laid out three requests for the Forbidden Door event, saying that he wants the option for the AEW World Championship to change hands via DQ or countout at Forbidden Door. MJF also asked to not use his Casino Gauntlet contract for the match at the pay-per-view.
Just seconds before the lighter could touch Briscoe, Page reluctantly agreed to the stipulation changes. MJF followed through on his word, making the choice to not burn Briscoe as the segment came to a close.
