Josh Briggs Wins Brutal Philadelphia Street Fight Against Yoshiki Inamura On WWE NXT

Josh Briggs picked up a massive win in his NXT career, defeating Yoshiki Inamura in a Philadelphia Street Fight on WWE NXT. The match between the former tag team partners kicked off the August 19 episode of NXT.

The battle was filled with weapons and lived up to the extreme legacy of professional wrestling in Philadelphia. Josh Briggs would be wearing the crimson mask by the end of the match as his face was busted open after Yoshiki Inamura placed him inside a trash can and hit the can with a baseball bat. Inamura also overcame a fair share of adversity, surviving several shots with the Kendo stick after being taped to the ring ropes.

In the end, Josh Briggs would pick up the win. He got the victory by hitting a moonsault off the top rope through a table. Even though Yoshiki Inamura fought with honor, Briggs prevailed on this night.

Josh Briggs also had a brief confrontation with Ricky Saints as he was exiting the ringside area, and Saints entered for his match with Jasper Troy.
