CM Punk returned to the UFC via a video package for UFC 319, which took place in Chicago.
Punk noted the championship history in Chicago with the 1985 Chicago Bears, the 2016 Chicago Cubs, the Chicago Bulls dynasty led by Michael Jordan, and the Chicago Blackhawks winning multiple championships in their history.
It was all in service to hype the UFC middleweight title fight between champion Dricus du Plessis and undefeated contender Khamzat Chimaev.

CM Punk fought twice in the UFC, losing both times. His second loss was overturned to a no contest after his opponent failed a drug test for marijuana.
