From CMLL:
As the winner of the 2024 Womenâs Universal Championship tournament, Persephone earned the right to represent the World Wrestling Council in Forbidden Door, being one of the three challengers to the TBS Championship held by Mercedes MonĂ©.
The news was revealed in the CMLL Informa, leaving âThe Goddessâ surprised to travel to London, England, to be at the great event of All Elite Wrestling next Sunday, August 24.
âI think Mercedes MonĂ© already has those championships, she doesnât need so many, I think Perse has to go for one of those. I have always been international, it is time not to go as a foreigner, now I am proudly going as the Mexican representative of CMLL. Mercedes MonĂ©, you have something that belongs to my company, but that doesnât matter now, what matters is that you have the TBS Championship that Perse wants, and what Perse wants, she always gets, so Iâll see you very soon,â he said.
Mercedes Moné will defend the TBS Championship in a four way against Alex Windsor, Persephone, and a representative of STARDOM yet to be confirmed.
