Karrion Kross: We Should Always Give The People What They Want. It’s Not Too Late To Get There

Karrion Kross departed WWE on August 10th when his contract expired.

Kross had gained a groundswell of support throughout 2025 despite limited television time to begin the year. Kross is now one of the most talked about wrestlers with fans speculating on his next move.

Speaking to Ariel Helwani on The Ariel Helwani Show, Kross was asked if he recognizes that he’s become the people’s champion and that he get a big reaction when he eventually shows up in a ring.

“I do,” he said.

Asked if he’s excited about it, Kross said, “I’m excited. There is something readily available for the audience that we can give them. I’m still here waiting. All they have to do is show up to the other side and let’s figure this out and let’s give it to them.”

Asked if he’s cool with leaning into things more, Kross said, “Oh yeah. We should always be giving the people what they want. Always. If you want to starve them for a little bit, with a payoff on the backend, that’s okay. That’s not what is happening right now. It should be what’s happening. It’s not too late to go there.”

Kross stated in the interview that him leaving WWE is not a work.

He also detailed WWE’s contract offer to him and how it was rescinded after 24 hours. You can read his full comments here.
