Copa Bardahl Match Added To AAA Triplemania XXXIII
WWE announces an addition to the AAA Triplemanía XXXIII card set for Saturday, August 16, 2025.
In their official preview post on WWE.com, WWE announced that a Copa Bardahl Match has been added to the upcoming Lucha Libre AAA card. For those unaware, the Copa Bardahl is structured like a Royal Rumble with timed intervals between entrants. However, it differs from the Royal Rumble because eliminations occur by way of pinfall. The winner gets the Copa Bardahl. Bardahl is a petroleum brand that sponsors the King of the Hill-style match.
Past winners include Octagon Jr. and Pimpinela Escarlata. Entrants for this year’s match have not been announced yet.
Triplemanía XXXIII will stream live on WWE’s YouTube channel in English and Spanish. A Fatal 4-Way for the AAA Mega Championship will headline the show. It’ll feature Dominik Mysterio, El Grande Americano, Dragon Lee, and the Mega Champion, El Hijo del Vikingo.
