IYO SKY Suffers First Singles Loss Since February On WWE Raw; Kairi Sane And Asuka Involved

IYO SKY loses her first singles match in nearly 200 days.
SKY was originally set to challenge Naomi for the Women’s World Championship on the August 11 episode of WWE Raw. Just hours before the show, the match was cancelled, as Naomi was not medically cleared to wrestle.
Instead, SKY ended up facing Roxanne Perez. She looked to be in firm control of ‘The Prodigy’ until Asuka and Kairi Sane got involved, standing on the apron and holding Perez down. This allowed Perez to get free and shove SKY into her former partners before rolling her up for the three count.

Perez’s victory is major, as it is the first time SKY has lost a singles match since February 3, 2025. You’ll have to go all the way back to 2024 to find SKY’s last pinfall loss, as the ‘Genius Of The Sky’ was pinned by Lyra Valkyria on the December 30 edition of Raw.
With the victory, Perez has now won four out of her last six televised singles matches.
