Sabu Documentary To Premiere On Kinema In September, New Trailer Released

Fans will get the chance to honor Sabu in September.
The new documentary on Sabu will premiere on streamer Kinema on Monday, September 15.
With a runtime of 1h and 21m, the doc will follow the ‘The Homicidal Suicidal Genocidal Death-Defying Maniac’ in his final days as he prepared for his retirement match with Joey Janela at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 9 in Las Vegas.

From his infamous upbringing under the influence of The Sheik to the electrifying days of ECW, Sabu reflects on his evolution as a performer and the extreme style that defined his legacy. The film captures the highs and lows of his journey, including personal challenges, injuries, and the emotional turmoil that shaped him both inside and outside the ring.
Joe Clarke is listed as the director the documentary. Rob Van Dam, real name Rob Szatkowski, is listed as a producer.
