Red Leather Belts Parts Ways With AEW After Six Years

AEW and their belt maker have parted ways after six years.

Red Leather Belts and AEW have parted ways after six years.

Over the six year history of All Elite Wrestling, several championships have been created and used. While not all of them have been used, as rumors of women’s tag titles continue to persist, some have been used and retired, such as the Continental Championship, the International Championship and more. In particular, several titles were created by one belt maker, Red Leather Belts.

In a new social media post late on August 10th, Red Leather Belts announced that he had parted ways with All Elite Wrestling after six years.

The most recent championship to be debuted in All Elite Wrestling has been Kazuchika Okada’s Unified Title, which replaced the individual belts of both the Continental championship and the International Championship respectively.

As of this writing, there is no indication of who AEW will be looking to use for belt making in the near future.

Tony Khan recently spoke about the idea of AEW Women’s Tag Titles, admitting that if he had sent out a recent bracket, he would have had to change it. You can read more about that here.
