Paul Heyman: Goldberg Had Very High Expectations For WWE. In His Mind, They Weren’t Met. I’m Not Surprised.

Paul Heyman responds to Goldberg’s criticism.
At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, Goldberg had the final match of his career, facing and losing to Gunther in a singles contest for the World Heavyweight Championship.
Goldberg wasn’t happy with the final product, complaining about the event choice, the lack of build, and the fact that his speech was cut short by NBC.
Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show for a new interview, Paul Heyman was asked to talk about Goldberg’s comments.
“It’s Bill. Bill Goldberg had very, very high expectations for WWE. In Bill Goldberg’s mind, they weren’t met. I’m not gonna sit here and tell you Bill Goldberg was wrong. I’m not going to tell you WWE was wrong. I’m going to tell you this is how Goldberg felt and he’s not shy in letting people know how he feels. I’m not surprised. It’s Bill. This is how he feels, and he’s going to let you know about it.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Heyman said that he’s re-writing his old movie scripts. Check out his full comments here.
