GLEAT’s Takanori Ito Sidelined Due To Injuries Suffered In Traffic Accident

GLEAT is gathering more details.
A statement from GLEAT was sent out, and the promotion announced that Takanori Ito is going to be out of action for the time being due to injuries he suffered in a traffic accident.
Details about the accident and the condition of Ito are being confirmed, and GLEAT noted that they will report back when said information is provided to them. Ito is recovering at home, and GLEAT has been in contact with him.
He has been pulled from the promotion’s August 9th show at Shinkiba 1stRING in Tokyo.
Ito began his in-ring career in 2016 for WRESTLE-1. He joined GLEAT in 2020. He is the first-ever LIDET UWF Champion and held the belt for just under a month.
