Blake Monroe Runs From Jordynne Grace, Suffers First WWE NXT Loss By Count-Out

Blake Monroe suffered her first loss on WWE NXT when she decided it was more important for her to run away from Jordynne Grace than stand and face Kelani Jordan.

The match between Blake Monroe and Kelani Jordan kicked off the August 5 episode of WWE NXT. However, it reached an abrupt end when Jordynne Grace stormed down to the ring. Even wearing a neck brace, Grace’s presence was enough to send Monroe bolting out the back door of the WWE Performance Center, where a car was waiting to drive her away from the scene as Grace chased the vehicle. This gave Jordan a count-out win.

This was the third televised match in NXT for Blake Monroe. She was previously in AEW as Mariah May. During her time in that company, she held the AEW Women’s World Championship.

Jordynne Grace was wearing a neck brace after suffering an injury from a DDT on a steel chair by Monroe on a past episode of WWE NXT. Fans can learn more about that here.
