At TNA Slammiversary, The Hardys would win a ladder match for the TNA World Tag Team Championships in a unique way even for the. In the conclusion of the match, Jeff would climb a rope ladder in order to retrieve the titles and win the bout for the brothers.
While speaking on the WWE SummerSlam recap show, Jeff spoke about the rope ladder spot and how long he has wanted to do it.
“I finally got to use, at our last big show, Slammiversary, the cable ladder, which I wanted to use after TLC 2, I think. So I finally got to bring that thing to life.”
Sam Roberts would then point out that Jeff must have been ecstatic in the moment, with the former WWE champion confirming that he was.
“I was, I was. It was a dream come true, man.”
