Triple H Says His World Isn’t Political, Calls Donald Trump One Of The Most Intuitive People He’s Met
Triple H shares his perspective on WWE Hall of Famer and U.S. President Donald Trump.
Paul “Triple H” Levesque was recently seen beside Donald Trump at the White House, where Trump signed an executive order to expand his Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition. One of his methods is to reintroduce the Presidential Fitness Test in public schools.
Speaking about his relationship with Trump on The Sports Agents, Paul Levesque called the current president one of the most intuitive people he’s ever met. He did, however, say that his world is not political and that he can’t imagine the stressors of being a political world leader in today’s environment.
“As you move through life, you continue to learn. I think that over time, everybody learns. He is one of the most intuitive people, I think, that I’ve met. Also, when he has a plan and he knows that it’s correct, he will stick to that. I think over time, many times that’s proven to be correct, but I think he admits when it’s wrong. Also, my world is not a political world. My world is a world of entertainment.
“I’ve always enjoyed my interactions with him when he’s been here, and he’s in our Hall of Fame. So my hat’s off to him. I can only imagine, as people ask me about the stresses and the criticisms and the negativities around leading WWE and the creative, I can only imagine what it is to be a world leader in this day and age. So my hat’s off to anybody in this arena, whether it’s the Mayor of London, the President of the United States, or anybody in between. God bless them, and the job they do.”
In June, Levesque and Stephanie McMahon met with U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to discuss Trump’s Council.
Donald Trump was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013. He was part of WWE Wrestlemania 23 in 2007. He recently commented on the passing of WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan. Read those comments here.
