Carlos Silva Says TNA Is Working On ‘A Couple Different Options’ Regarding Media Rights Deal

Ahead of TNA Slammiversary, TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva stated that he believed TNA was in a “60 to 90 day window” to get a media rights deal done.
Coming out of Slammiversary, Silva was asked by Tim on Battleground where things stand regarding a potential new TV deal.
“Every day it gets closer. Certainly, Slammiversary and the kind of fans, social (media), the buzz, all of it matters. I’ve done it throughout my career, you need to work hard every single day to be there, and if you work hard every single day to be there and if you perform and the product is great, then you get lucky. Luck doesn’t just happen because it happens. It happens because we keep doing these things every single day. That’s what is going to get us a TV deal. Everyone notices. The media space is about buzz, creating this feeling of getting bigger and growing, and that’s exactly what we’re doing. Is it going to help? Yeah. Is it done yet? No, it’s not done yet. I’m working on it today and tomorrow. It’s my focus to get that done and there are a couple of different options that we’re working on and we’re going to keep pushing every single day,” he stated.
Elsewhere during the interview, Silva responded to fans who were disappointed by NXT talent walking out of Slammiversary with TNA titles. You can find his full comments here.
