CJ Perry (Lana) Set For Debut Novel As Part Of Paradigm’s Book-to-Film Publishing Collab

Paradigm is launching a book-to-film publishing collaboration with CJ Perry set for her novel debut.

Deadline reports Perry’s “Bulletproof Angel” will be the first book-to-film initiative from Paradigm, which pairs athletes with bestselling authors. Perry will work with bestselling author and screenwriter Blake Northcott.

According to Deadline, “Bulletproof Angel is a high-octane international spy thriller that centers on a brilliant young CIA agent and her estranged mother, a retired operative with a haunted past. They are forced to work together behind enemy lines to stop an AI-powered weapon system capable of triggering global catastrophe.”

Perry said, “I’ve always been drawn to stories of espionage, betrayal, and resilience, and building a world around two powerful female operatives was a dream. Blake is an incredible partner, and Bulletproof Angel is just the beginning.”

Northcott said, “CJ has a sharp creative instinct and a cinematic sense of story. She’s a true storyteller. This book is a fast-paced, emotional ride with explosive action and a core that’s all heart.”

Additional fiction titles are in development, co-authored with Paradigm clients including WWE superstars Damian Priest and Sheamus.

Perry (Lana in WWE) re-signed with WWE on a legends deal in April. Her husband Rusev returned to the promotion on the April 21st episode of WWE Raw.
