Trick Williams Retains TNA World Title In Main Event Of TNA Slammiversary

Trick Williams retained the TNA World Title in the main event of TNA Bound For Glory, defeating Mike Santana and Joe Hendry.
The finish saw Trick fake a knee injury, keeping him on the outside for the latter half of the match. As Trick was being attended to by officials, Hendry and Santana battled in the ring. Santana caught Hendry with not one, but two Spin the Block spinning lariats, and seemed to have the match won until Trick made a miraculous recovery, jumping back in the ring to break up the pinfall.
Trick tossed Santana out of the ring and pinned Hendry to retain the TNA World Title.
After the match, Trick Williams was handed the title by TNA President Carlos Silva. Trick raised Silva’s hand and laughed while holding the title.
During the match, Joe Hendry hit the Standing Ovation on Trick and seemed to have the match won, but Frankie Kazarian, who was on commentary, pulled the referee out of the ring. Kazarian was then ejected from ringside.
This was Trick’s fourth successful title defense. He won the title from Joe Hendry at WWE NXT Battleground 2025.
