Real1 And 4th Rope Wrestling Defeat Team TNA At TNA Slammiversary

The 4th Rope invasion of TNA wrestling was successful at TNA Slammiversary.

Real1, Josh Bishop, and Zilla Fatu were victorious in a six-man tag team bout on the Countdown to TNA Slammiversary, defeating TNA International Champion Steve Maclin, Mance Warner, and Jake Something.

The finish saw Real1 hit Eat Defeat on Something for the victory.

Before the bout began, Real1 (formerly Enzo Amore in WWE) cut a promo introducing the crowd to Zilla Fatu, putting over his family and mentioning his time in jail, and Josh Bishop, noting his size and comparison to Sycho Sid.

The promo was just as long as the match.

Paid advertisements had run on past weeks of TNA iMPACT! with Real1, channeling his inner-NWO, questioned TNA coming into New York without his permission.

Bishop has appeared on TNA TV in the past in association with First Class (AJ Francis and KC Navarro). This was the TNA debut of Real1 and Zilla, who is the 4th Rope Champion.

4th Rope Wrestling is run by rappers Westside Gunn and Smoke DZA. They have held multiple events across the world, combining wrestling with rap.
