Thekla Is Officially All Elite, Tony Khan Says She Was On A Probation Period

Thekla is All Elite and she has the graphic to prove it.

Though Thekla made her debut on the May 28th episode of AEW Dynamite by attacking Jamie Hayter and has competed in multiple matches since, she didn’t have her contract officially validated until Saturday, July 19.

AEW President Tony Khan explained that she was on a probation period after the way she departed STARDOM.

Tony Khan wrote on social media, “Due to her attack on President  @tokada_mh4e + her termination for cause from @we_are_stardom, after her debut June 4 at Fyter Fest #AEWCollision, I placed Thekla on a 45 day probation period before validating her contract. Her probation ended today. @toxic_thekla is All Elite!”

Thekla was fired from STARDOM after attacking President Taro Okada at STARDOM All-Star Grand Queendom in April. Thekla was defeated by Sayaka Kurara at the event and refused to join Kouzen, going back on her promise, before attacking Okada.

Thekla has competed in eight matches in AEW, including the women’s casino gauntlet at AEW All In.

On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, she defeated Kris Statlander, Queen Aminata and Willow Nightingale in a four-way bout to win $100,000. After the bout, she aligned with Skye Blue and Julia Hart.
