Hangman Page To Open 7/16 AEW Dynamite
New AEW World Champion Hangman Page will open the July 16th episode of AEW Dynamite.
Tony Khan confirmed that Page will open Wednesday’s episode and address the audience for the first time since AEW All In.
Page won the AEW World Title in the main event of AEW All In, defeating Jon Moxley in a Texas Death Match. Page hung Moxley by a chain on the ropes, forcing Moxley to tap out. After the bout, Hangman opened the briefcase to unveil the AEW World Title for the first time since AEW WrestleDream 2024 when Moxley won the title from Bryan Danielson and put it in a duffel bag before later transferring it to the briefcase.
Not only will Page open Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite to speak, he will compete in the main event when he teams with Powerhouse Hobbs & Mark Briscoe to take on Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, & Wheeler Yuta.
