Kyle Fletcher Reflects On His Growth As A Pro Wrestler In AEW
Kyle Fletcher discusses becoming a more complete professional wrestler. Fletcher is one of the fastest-rising stars of AEW. Thus far in 2025, he has regularly competed at the top of the card. Now, he’s reflecting on his progress as a competitor.
During a recent interview with Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, Fletcher addressed being considered one of the most improved wrestlers in recent history. Despite his age, Fletcher has been a wrestler for over a decade. It has taken all of those experiences for him to start becoming the complete package he is today. He believes his growth shows in the ring, and he feels more confident than ever.
“To me, it just feels like everything is coming together now. I’ve been wrestling for ten years, but throughout that process, I’ve been figuring out who I am. Not even just as a wrestler, but as a person. I started doing this when I was 14, and I had no idea who I was in the ring or out. What you’ve been seeing in the ring has been playing out with what’s happening in real life as well. As a 26-year-old man now, I know who I am, and I’m confident in that. I think it shows in the ring. That’s all it is.”
At AEW All In, Kyle Fletcher was supposed to challenge Adam Cole for the AEW TNT Title. However, Cole had to relinquish the title due to medical issues. Fletcher then lost the championship match to Dustin Rhodes. Fans can learn more about Cole’s status here.
