Naomi Says ‘All It Took Was One Phone Call To The Rock’ To Win WWE Women’s World Title

Naomi shocked the world at WWE Evolution, cashing in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Women’s World Title.

Naomi cashed in during the main event bout between Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, coming out as both women were down following a Spanish fly.

After officially announcing her cash-in, Naomi hit IYO with the briefcase, tossed Rhea into the post and to the outside, and then hit a split-legged moonsault on IYO for the win.

On social media, one fan wrote in a now-deleted tweet, “Damn… They did IYO dirty, to give another Fatu a title. This sucks.”

Naomi got the last laugh, writing, “And all it took was for me to make one call to @TheRock ⚠️😁hahahhahahhahahah”

Naomi is married to Jimmy Uso, thus part of the Fatu family.

The Rock hasn’t been on WWE TV since WWE Elimination Chamber when John Cena turned heel, selling his soul to The Rock.

Naomi’s title victory on Sunday marks her third reign with the WWE Women’s World Championship. She previously held the title when it was named the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

After the event, Naomi spoke to the press about her title victory. Fans can find her comments here.
