Mercedes Mone To Defend RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Title Against Safire Reed At RevPro Summer Sizzler
Mercedes Mone will defend her RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship against Safire Reed at RevPro Summer Sizzler.
Reed defeated Emersyn Jayne at RevPro Live in Coventry on July 13th in the finals of a number one contenders tournament to decide who Mercedes would face at Summer Sizzler.
Reed bested Kanji in the semifinals of the four-woman tournament. On the other side of the bracket, Jayne got the better of Lizzy Evo.
Mercedes was originally announced for Summer Sizzler on June 22nd. She won the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship at NJPW x CMLL x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5th by defeating Mina Shirakawa in Title vs. Title bout. Mercedes’ AEW TBS Championship was on the line as well in the match.
She has made one successful title defense in RevPro, defeating Kanji at High Stakes 2025 on April 20.
Reed is a former EVE Champion.
Mercedes Mone had the chance to add more gold to her collection at AEW All In, but came up short against “Timeless” Toni Storm in a bout for the AEW Women’s Championship.
