Hangman Page Defeats Jon Moxley, Takes AEW Title Out Of Briefcase At AEW All In

Hangman Page restores the feeling at AEW All In 2025.

Hangman Page defeated Jon Moxley in a brutal Texas Death Match to capture his second AEW World Championship. Perhaps more importantly, after a year of the physical championship belt hiding inside a briefcase, Page lived up to his word and became the man to rescue the title from its captivity.

The Texas Death Match featured glass, a bed of nails, barbed wire, and more. There was also interference from Darby Allin, Bryan Danielson, Wheeler Yuta, Will Ospreay, and others. In the end, Swerve Strickland made the difference, handing Hangman Page the chain that he would need to hang Moxley over the ropes and force him into submission. While they may never be friends, Strickland and Page reached a level of mutual respect in their rivalry with this gesture.

Jon Moxley was champion for 274 days. In his historic fourth AEW World Title reign, he would successfully defend the championship against Orange Cassidy, Adam Copeland, Swerve Strickland, and more. Now, the next chapter begins.
