Solo Sikoa To Defend WWE US Title Against Jimmy Uso At WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event
Solo Sikoa will defend his WWE United States Championship against Jimmy Uso at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12.
WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis confirmed the match on social media.
Sikoa won the WWE US Title at WWE Night of Champions by defeating Jacob Fatu. In the bout, Tonga Loa made his return and Tala Tonga (Hikuleo) made his return. Jimmy has been helping Fatu since Fatu expressed his hatred for Solo at WWE Money in the Bank.
Solo officially introduced Tala into his family on WWE SmackDown, naming his group MFT for My Family Tree. Jimmy & Fatu defeated JC Mateo & Solo on the July 4th episode of WWE SmackDown.
This will be Solo’s first defense of the title. Jimmy has never held a singles title during his WWE run. He is an eight-time WWE Tag Team Champion alongside his brother Jey Uso.
