Kota Ibushi Defeats Trent Beretta In His First AEW Match In Nearly 600 Days
Kota Ibushi is back to his winning ways.
The June 25 edition of AEW Dynamite featured the AEW in-ring return of Kota Ibushi, as ‘The Golden Star’ took on Trent Beretta in a singles contest.
As expected, Ibushi picked up the victory, defeating Beretta with a Kamigoye. This was Ibushi’s first time competing in a singles match for AEW and his first match for the promotion since November 2023.

After the match, Ibushi came face-to-face with ‘The Rainmaker’ himself, Kazuchika Okada. The former rivals are set to clash again at AEW Dynamite 300, which takes place on July 2.
