In recent years, the number of wrestlers who have stepped foot in the ring for a match has only grown, with rapper Bad Bunny and social media star Logan Paul being notable names to step foot in a WWE ring for multiple matches.
In a new interview at the recent Heads Of State premiere, Idris Elba was asked about meeting his co-star John Cena in the ring, with Elba joking about being about to dominate the world of wrestling.
“I mean, come on, John, you know. You’ve already told the world, it’s over for you, retirement. You are a wrestler that became an actor. I am an actor that’s about to dominate wrestling.”
