Joe Hendry Returns To WWE NXT, Attacks Trick Williams After Successful TNA World Title Defense

Nobody said his name, but Joe Hendry still appeared on the June 24 episode of WWE NXT.
After Trick Williams defeated Josh Briggs to retain the TNA Wrestling World Championship on the June 24 episode of WWE NXT, Joe Hendry made his latest WWE NXT appearance. Henry is currently scheduled to challenge Williams for the TNA World Championship at TNA Slammiversary.
Joe Hendry confronted Trick Williams, appearing behind him and clotheslining him out of the ring to send a quick message to his rival.

Fightful Select had reported before the June 24 episode going on the air that Joe Henry was scheduled for more appearances in WWE NXT. In the past, he has headlined WWE NXT No Mercy. He’s also been a part of the 2025 WWE Royal Rumble and faced Randy Orton at WrestleMania as part of a last-minute decision when Kevin Owens could no longer compete due to injury.
