Jerry Lawler says WWE paid his hospital bill after suffering a cardiac arrest in 2012.

During the September 10th, 2012 edition of WWE Monday Night RAW, Jerry Lawler would suffer a cardiac arrest at the announce desk following a match on the show. He would be rushed to hospital after, and would pull through in the end.

On a recent appearance for Busted Open, Jerry was asked about the incident, with Lawler noting that he doesn’t remember it, and Michael Cole had to explain what had happened to him after. In addition, the WWE Hall Of Famer also noted that WWE paid his medical bill from the incident.

“They kept me in the hospital for a few days in Canada. Free healthcare- you’re supposed to get in Canada, that’s a big lie, they sent me a bill for 20,000 dollars. Yes, WWE paid.”

Earlier this year, Lawler provided a health update following a stroke. You can read more about that here.
