Last month, several WWE names were either released from their contract or told that they would not be picked up following their contract expiring. One of these talents was Karl Fredericks, who competed under the name Eddy Thorpe in WWE NXT.

In a new social media post on June 22nd, Fredericks explained why he asked for his release from the company.

Elsewhere in another social media post, Fredericks stated that WWE would not allow him to DJ for free during WrestleMania week.
