El Phantasmo To Miss 6/21, 6/22 NJPW Events Due to Right Knee Injury

The NJPW World Television Champion is off the upcoming shows.

ELP off the next few shoes.

Due to a right knee injury, El Phantasmo was pulled from the main event of NJPW’s New Japan Soul show on June 19th.

An update on Phantasmo’s status was provided by NJPW. The company noted that he is also going to be off the June 21st and June 22nd shows.

El Phantasmo, who was scheduled to compete at events Saturday in Yamagata and Sunday in Fukushima, has sustained an injury to his right knee and will not be appearing.

Phantasmo has an NJPW World TV Title defense scheduled for Tanahashi Jam on June 29th.
