Gabriel Luna On Wanting To Wait For Ghost Rider Return: I’ll Be The CM Punk Of The MCU
Gabriel Luna wants to be the CM Punk of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In 2016 and 2017, Luna appeared as Robbie Reyes/Ghost Rider in the ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D’ television show.
Since the show’s finale in 2020, fans have been calling for Luna to reprise his role as Ghost Rider in a number of MCU projects.
During an interview with Brandon Davis at the ‘Ballerina’ premiere, Luna talked about the public desire to see the character again.
“Maybe there’s something to it about leaving it there and having it remembered as fondly as we do.”
Davis brought up the fact that wrestlers will often gain popularity after being gone from a promotion for a few years. Luna proceeded to joke that he’ll be the CM Punk of the MCU.
“I’ll be the CM Punk of the MCU.”
Punk returned to wrestling in 2021 after quitting the sport in 2014.
