Alex Shelley Says Motor City Machine Guns Were Supposed To Face The Hardys In 2011, ‘It’s Probably Time We Get That Match’

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin want to face The Hardys.

Despite sharing multiple locker rooms over the years, the Motor City Machine Guns and The Hardys have never shared the ring in tag action.

In a new interview with Metro, the duo of Shelley and Sabin explained why they want to change that.

Chris Sabin: “Sounds like a dream match.”

Alex Shelley: “It was scheduled once. Maybe 2011, there was a UK tour TNA had booked that match on in particular. And I can’t remember where it was gonna be. It was gonna be somewhere in England. And something happened, I can’t remember exactly what, but it never came to fruition. So we’ve somehow managed to evade the Hardy Boyz our entire career, and it’s probably time that we get that match.”

Back in 2013, Sabin and Jeff Hardy shared the ring in a Full Metal Mayhem match.

Alex Shelley recently stated that Triple H was a huge factor in their decision to sign with WWE. His full comments can be found by clicking here.
