Canelo Alvarez Bests William Scull To Win Undisputed Super Middleweight Title

Canelo Alvarez got the better of William Scull to become the Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion.

Alvarez won a unanimous decision (115-113, 116-112, 119-109).

The fight was a listless affair with the two combining to throw just 445 punches, which breaks the all-time CompuBox record for least punches thrown in a 12-round fight.

Canelo is now a two-time undisputed champion. He entered the fight as the WBA, WBC and WBO champion and captured the IBF championship with his victory.

Canela is now 63-2-2 in his career. This was Scull’s first career loss, putting him at 23-1.
