On the April 30 edition of AEW Dynamite, The Opps (Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs) defended their AEW World Trios Championships against a trio of local talent.
After the conclusion of the match, the Death Riders attacked the champs from behind, leaving Samoa Joe enraged. After the dust settled, Joe threw out a big challenge for AEW Dynamite Beach Break, revealing that he wants his AEW World Championship match with Jon Moxley to be in a Steel Cage.
