In the latest round of the men’s WWE Speed number one contender tournament, El Grande Americano would face off with The War Raiders’ Erik.
In the closing stages of the match, El Grande Americano would hit a running flying headbutt, followed by his trademark diving headbutt from the top rope. Notably, Americano did not visibly use a metal plate in his mask.

El Grande Americano will next face off with Alex Shelley in the men’s number one contender tournament, with the winner of the tournament facing off with men’s WWE Speed Champion Dragon Lee.
