Rusev Returns On WWE Raw, Lays Out Akira Tozawa And Otis
Rusev returns.
The April 21 edition of WWE Raw featured a celebration promo from the New Day, as the duo gloated about their World Tag Team Championships win at WrestleMania 41.
Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were eventually interrupted by the Alpha Academy trio of Maxxine Dupri, Otis, and Akira Tozawa.
Before the match could get started, the lights went out in the arena. When they came back on, unknown theme music played while Rusev’s new titantron flashed across the screen, signaling the return of the former United States Champion.
After soaking in the reaction, Rusev came to the ring and took out both Otis and Tozawa.
