The finish saw Goto connect with multiple GTRs to pin Sabre and win the title.

Goto nominated Hiroshi Tanahashi to face him at NJPW 53rd Anniversary on March 6.
This marks the first reign as IWGP World Heavyweight Champion for Goto. ZSJ held the title for 120 days and made four successful title defenses.
